  1. Hello, I have been using Wasp 10 for many years and I would like to install Map Editor 12. I am afraid of any conflicts that may arise between the old and the new version of Map Editor when coexisting in the same computer. Are there any references of this ? And I am also afraid of removing the old Map Editor (which has served me for so long) and then being unable to re-install it or experiencing Wasp 10 - Map Editor 12 conflicts. Your comments will be much appreciated. Many thanks !
  2. Thanks for your answer. What is the method used for fitting Weibull parameters to the observed Wind Climate (e.g. *.tab tables) ?
  3. What method (such as Least Sqaures, Maximum Likelihood, Method of Moments, etc) does Wasp use to estimate the Weibull parameters for each direction sector as shown in the "Turbine Site" window ? Thanks !
  4. Mark, Many thanks for your fast answer. Is there a button in the resource grid spatial view to hide contours ? I know there is such button in the project map. What I would like to do is to be able to see mean wind speed in numbers when I point to a coordinate (ie "(coord X, cord y) 7.7m/s") as shown in the resource grid spatial view but without the contour lines. Contour lines are so dense that don't let me see the colours. Thanks !
  5. Is it possible to view a resource grid in the spatial view without the height contour lines ?
  6. Duncan, Many thanks. I will do as suggested and come back to you. Regards, pablo
  7. Morten, Many thanks for your coments. Is there a default folder in Windows Vista where *.wmh files are saved ? What should be the name of the *.wmh file I am looking for ? (eg. does it contain the name of the project, the creation date or other ?)
  8. I am using the Hard drive from my old PC (which is now dead) and I get the following error when trying to open from it a workspace from file: "Could not open a workspace from file because ... the scripting wrapper object could not open an existing workspace from file because ... could not open a WAsP hierarchy file because ... could not retrieve the project inventory from the archive because ... the system reported that: 'Local exception: Failed to recover a workspace inventory file from the archive. (Unzip 517).'" Wasp program is installed in the new PC. I am just trying to access Wasp files from the old hard drive. It seems that Wasp can not find the correct path of the files in the old hard drive. I have tried to find *.wwh files in the old hard drive, but I can't find them. Should I look after some *.zip file ? I have worked a lot in this particular project and I would really like to recover the project hierarchy elements. Any help is welcomed. Many thanks!
  9. Many thanks Marko. I uninstalled Licence Manager from Control Panel and then installed Sentinel HASP/LDK Windows GUI Run-time Installer from the link provided. Then I re-installed Licence manager and it could detect the dongle with no issues. Best regards, Pablo
  10. I am trying to license Wasp 10.2 on a Windows 8.1 PC (64 bits). During installation the following message appeared: "This driver could not be installed due to compatibility issues: "Hardlock Device Driver for Windows x64 Aladdin Knowledge Systems Ltd." (My free translation as my operating system is in Spanish). Licensing using the License Manager is impossible, although Windows detects the dongle. Risoe Licence Manager reports as follows: "Report made on 2013-11-12 12:29:29 HASP dongle drivers are apparently not installed There was an error while detecting HASP dongles: Code=-100 No HASP dongles are attached. Risø's licence server DLL is working OK Licence server DLL version: 2.9.9.0 The machine ID is 9576-15377-57840-18614" Your help will be highly appreciated as my previous computer is unusable. Many thanks, pf
