I want to ask about the "sites" in WAsP Engineering 2.0. If I set a Vestas V90(3MW) wind turbine in WAsP 9.0, and I extract the site to *.wsg file. Then I insert the site file into WAsP Engineering 2.0. It shows the locations, height, and description on the map. However, I am confused about the power of wind turbine of the site is also considered? Or, it just only uses the locations, height,and description of the wind turbine. Is it nothing to do with the type of wind turbine?

yes, I got a grid map, and it was up-side down. And I used the Sufer 8.0 to look this grid map. I found I can use the mirror function to solve this problem. But I don't know why this problem happened?

Hi, I want to ask about WAsP Eng function: reporting- 5 Extreme wind grid map(needs oewc/rewc, height) When I ran a case, I wanted to get a extreme wind grid map for all wind direction with this case. I tried to use the function above, but the result showed the map was opposite direction entirely (both x and y direction). Why this happened? How to solve it ?

Hi, I had solved the problem, but I am not very sure about this. Is that the vector map file must be ascii format? And sometimes I opened the bigger map file(about 7mb), I have to select the button: Use new gridding method...or I will run out of the program!!! I want ask for why these happened? THX...

Hi, I got a very emergent problem in WAsP Engineering 2.0 below: My OS is Windows 7 x64. When I opened a map file, it could not show the elevation spatial view. And I pressed the detail button, it showed the message below...What is the problem? What should I try it? Help me, please........ Could not perform the default operation on the selected object because ... the 'Open the 'Elevation' grid in a new spatial view' operation could not be performed because ... could not explore (or perform one of) the operations available for a selected thing because ... could not explore or perform the operations available for a data selection because ... failed to refresh the spatial view display because ... failed to draw the selected grid onto the window because ... failed to draw the grid data colours to a bitmap because ... the system reported that: 'Overflow.'
