  1. Hi Duncan, I seem to have the same problem as Phil, in that I can't get a site in the Southern Hemisphere to show up correctly in Google Earth (version 7.1.2.2041). That is, it's ends up in the Northern Hemisphere. However, I'm trying to do so from WEng3 (version 3.01.021). I'm also using Windows 10. Could it be the same issue, as for WAsP11? If so, is there an easy fix? I also find the feature to be extremely useful. Thanks, Matt
  2. Hi, I have been trying to find the standalone program, "IECturbulenceSimulator.exe". However, the following link is no longer valid: Is this program no longer available? I have also tried to use the command line program found here: . However, I receive error messages related to the input file format. The included manuals do not seem to include sufficient information or examples. Moreover, I cannot get one of the included example files, "simEx1.inp", to work. Is the command line program, "windsimu.exe", meant to substitute the GUI version? If so, could you provide some more examples of the input file format? Thanks, Matt
  3. Hi, I'm working on a project in the Caribbean and I'm pretty sure I need to change the default values for heat flux in WAsP. However, I'm not sure what to change them to. I've looked up the NCAR dataset here: http://www.esrl.noaa.gov/psd/data/gridded/data.ncep.reanalysis.html, but it isn't clear to me which particular dataset to look at. I think I need the surface heat flux, but should I use sensible or latent or both? Also, should I somehow average these values over a yearlong timespan? Any insight would be appreciated. -Matt Nipper
