  1. Hi I find the WF power curve functionalities really interesting (Windfarm overview > WF power curve) I was trying out the fact that we can deactivate a turbine or a turbine group, so that its wake effects are not taken into account in our WF power curve table. This is a bit unrelated but I have a question regarding wakes: if a turbine is not operating / shut-down, does it still have a wake on its neighor turbines or not? Is the wake caused only when the turbine is spinning? (or perhaps I am confusing with the wake turbulence). Thanks so much in advance.
  2. sorry, problem solved... you can delete this topic
  3. Same issue with the "Performance meas zones" main plot theme, not existing here on my side...
  4. Hello, I am using WAT 4.6.168 and it seems to that the Main plot theme "Performance meas sectors" has disappeared from the list? It seems it was still existent in v.4.0 which you are using and demonstrating in the WAT demo 13
  5. I find that WAT has so many functionalities to assess the TI (turbulence intensities) and the effect of sector management and many other things, which is great to fine-tune the type of wind class we want for our wind turbines, so that our project is IEC compliant and safe, or for many other options. For the person well versed, well accustomed to WAT, it's easy to illustrate an argument, but for reporting purposes, if I want to make a case about the benefits of sector management (as an example) to my boss, having a report would be really useful. So I can produce one report with and one without sector management (or a report of Effective TI) and present it in an understandable way to someone less tech-savy, without having to show him directly on the software or in a plain txt file. Is there any report tool integrated in WAT?
  6. Good morning, When creating our Generalised EWC, is there a minimum number of points/samples to consider it reliable and usable? I mean, in some cases, only four points/samples are extracted from the time series, which seem a bit light to be able to have a good Generalised EWC... And in some cases, I can have 22 samples, which seem more reliable to estimate our 50 year wind speed. Thank you for your help, Julien
