roughness survey from *.map file

Dear Wasp Team,

I am mow doing some research on how the roughness influences the wind resource analysis result. I carefully setup the roughness line in the *.map file, and built the project to calculate the wind.

I noted that the roughness survey showed in the reference site is more simple than what I setuped in the *.map file. I wonder how does the wasp calculate the roughness survey from the *.map file?

The roughness survey which WAsP calculates from the map data is a summary. I have asked my colleague Qiangbing to reply with a more detailed description of the way this is calculated. It's explained in the European Wind Atlas.
