Wasp results higher than the source data ????

In our wind energy yield assessment studies using WAsP 9.0, we form our one year data and put it into the model. The wind speed results we are obtaining at the hub height of the turbine which is at the met mast location (which is equal to measurement height), are higher than the source data or data which is fitted (approximately 0.6 m/s high). What can be the reason for this? We are coming up against this issue for our several different projects. Does WAsP overestimate? We look forward to hearing from you.

Cigdem
