Licensing WASP 10 on Windows 8.1

I am trying to license Wasp 10.2 on a Windows 8.1 PC (64 bits).

During installation the following message appeared:

"This driver could not be installed due to compatibility issues: "Hardlock Device Driver for Windows x64 Aladdin Knowledge Systems Ltd." (My free translation as my operating system is in Spanish).

Licensing using the License Manager is impossible, although Windows detects the dongle.

Risoe Licence Manager reports as follows:

"Report made on 2013-11-12 12:29:29
HASP dongle drivers are apparently not installed
There was an error while detecting HASP dongles: Code=-100
No HASP dongles are attached.
Risø's licence server DLL is working OK
Licence server DLL version: 2.9.9.0
The machine ID is 9576-15377-57840-18614"

Your help will be highly appreciated as my previous computer is unusable.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience.


I tested this on a Windows 8.1 (64bit) PC.
I saw the same problem, but was able to resolve it following way:
-I installed Sentinel HASP/LDK Windows GUI Run-time Installer (Windows, 13.3 MB, Version 6.60, Released 2013-08-08) from the page: http://sentinelcustomer.safenet-inc.com/sentineldownloads/
-However the dongle was still not detected so I rebooted the PC. After the restart the Licence manager reported multiple dongles detected.
-I uninstalled Sentinel driver from add/remove programs. Re-inserted the Dongle and it started to work for me.

I uninstalled Licence Manager from Control Panel and then installed Sentinel HASP/LDK Windows GUI Run-time Installer from the link provided. Then I re-installed Licence manager and it could detect the dongle with no issues.

Great to hear this. Thanks. I guess other people will experience this as Windows 8.1 gets rolled out more widely.
